September through May
Sundays 10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
For children age 3 through Grade 6
Each week our students dig deeper into the Sunday worship Scriptures through activities, art projects, reading, and conversation; learning more about the Bible stories and how they connect to their daily lives. For grades Pre-K through 3rd, we use the Spark Lectionary Curriculum, which follows the same liturgical calendar as Pastor’s sermons. Children are able to ask questions and learn more about what they’ve heard in Worship that morning!
Our 4th through 6th grade students use the Connect Curriculum. Notorious for its witty, quirky humor-filled videos, this curriculum is designed specifically for Tweens. The program captures attention while applying biblical teachings from the lesson and helps pre-teens see the big picture of the Bible with the custom designed Connect Bible. This bible features visual icons, vibrant maps, and instant activities to engage and provide relevance to this age group.
Classes begin in the fall with an orientation meeting for parents and students in grades 7 – 9 and meets weekly on Wednesday evenings. Our Pastor uses the Faith Inkubators Confirmation Curriculum, which is engaging, fun, interactive, and fosters growth for both students and families together.
For more detailed information on class schedules, please see the calendar under the Events & Calendar tab, or feel free to call the church office at: (920) 826-7785.
While children are usually ready to receive communion around 3rd or 4th grade, we leave it up to the parents to decide if their child is ready. First Communion is normally held in the spring and more information may be found in our church newsletter, The Lighthouse. Families are encouraged to invite their child’s Sponsors, Grandparents, and other family members to make this a truly special day for all! Any families who feel their child(ren) are ready to receive communion may contact the church office or Pastor Stacy by calling (920) 826-7785.
Led by Pastor Stacy, Brown Bag Bible Study takes place weekly on Thursdays at 11:00 a.m. and covers a broad range of topics. Participants are encouraged to enjoy the delicious lunch provided by our Meal Site each Thursday at Noon or bring a lunch from home. All are welcome to join us for this engaging study!
