The young people in our congregation are an integral part of our life together. With their advisor and congregation adult volunteers, they engage in Bible study, service projects, fellowship, and fun activities. Our youth group members are encouraged to participate not only in congregational events, but also in offerings through our community, Synod and the national church.
Our youth organization is called the L.Y.O. (Lutheran Youth Organization). We have events planned throughout the year for youth to come together and celebrate their passion for Christ. Such events include Bible Studies where we dig deeper into scripture readings and discuss current event topics, overnight church lock-ins, movie nights, Breakfast Club, and game nights- all which foster growth and solidify Faith Journeys Together.

Breakfast Club is our monthly service/fellowship group. Our focus is having breakfast at a fast food restaurant and then spending 2 hours doing community service at different organizations in our local area. This allows us to do mini mission projects here at home and spend time hanging out with each other.
Who doesn’t love pizza?? Each year our LYO holds a Pizza Fundraiser which has been a huge success and only continues to grow.
The LYO takes orders for our delicious home-made pizzas and garlic bread from the community and congregation and gathers on a Saturday morning for our Annual Pizza Build.
One year we made 770 pizzas! This event is always a ton of fun! All proceeds from our Annual Pizza Fundraiser go to support our Mission Trips, participation in annual Synod Senior High and Junior High Youth Gatherings, benevolence and youth group fun events.
Sun and Fun are always the order of the day when the LYO goes on a Summer Fun Day Event! Whether it’s tubing on the Wolf River, competing in a paintball field, or taking in a great movie, we always have a blast!
Lock-Ins
Throughout the year, our LYO gathers at church for lock-in events. Whether just for fun, or for a great cause like the 30 Hour Famine, we always have a blast spending time together, sharing music, stories, laughs… and friendship.
